2. maja 1998. godine na maloj sceni Narodnog pozorišta “Raša Plaović” održana je premijera “Zagonetnih varijacija” Erika – Emenuela Šmita. Ta izuzetna predstava francuske dramaturgije već 15 godina se u Beogradu prikazuje pred prepunim auditorijumom. Zahvaljujući divnom prevodu Stanice Lazarević, izdavačka kuća Nea objavila je knjigu i platila autorska prava da se predstava može održati u Beogradu.
